2 pounds ground beef

3 1/2 ounces grated monterey jack cheese

2 eggs

1 onion diced small

1 small green bell pepper diced small

5 slices sourdough bread

1 cup milk

1 1/2 teaspoons A 1® Steak Sauce

1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt

1/2 teaspoon Tabasco® sauce

1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper

1 tablespoon beef base

favorite prepared chili sauce for topping

Soak the sourdough bread in milk. Add all the seasoning and spices (including beef base, A 1, Worcestershire and Tabasco). Mix the ground beef with jack cheese, onion, bell pepper and egg. Add the bread and milk to beat mixture and mix together thoroughly. Form into a loaf and place in a glass or metal baking pan. Pour chili sauce over the top. Cook, covered with foil, for approximately 90 minutes at 350° F.
