DESCRIPTION: The blackberry cobbler is memorable. Very inexpensive restaurant with good but not outstanding country dishes. The livernips, indiginous to the Dutch Fork (Dorsche Fork) area of SC are unique. Livernips are a creamed spiced liver concoction.

Soul Veg is a Fantasic Place
DESCRIPTION: Loved it! Everyone I know had been and told me to go. All items are vegan with the exception of a few drinks that have honey in them but it is clearly marked. The people that work there are really friendly and made me feel right at home.

DESCRIPTION: Soul Veg is SOOOO good. I can't even tell you my favorite because it's all good-though I have never had their pizza. I love the salads! Their desserts are to die for. Don't miss a chance to eat there, ever!

Good for Charleston
DESCRIPTION: The food is delicious and nutritious. Their presence in Charleston is greatly appreciated since no other vegetarian restaurants are open here. This is the only all vegetarian (vegan for that matter) restaurant in Charleston.

DESCRIPTION: It's so nice to have a completely vegan (minus the well marked honey-containing products) restaurant. I can't tell how much I appreciate not having to say, "please no butter, cheese, mayonnaise, meat broth, etc.", and then sending something back, almost always- which I don't like to do anyway- because they did, accidentally, use cheese. Charleston is lucky to have this alternative, and I'm surprised we don't have more at least vegetarian restaurants.
